Kriššák

Patrik Kriššák was born in 1986 in Czechoslovakia. He studied painting at the University of Ostrava, Faculty of Fine Arts in the studio headed by Prof. Daniel Balabán. Since graduating in 2011, he has lived in Prague.

His works oscillate freely between figuration and abstraction, often having the hallmarks of structures with organic shapes.

Since 2014, he has been developing an original method of painting using jars on horizontally aligned canvas. His latest series Extinction focuses on global climate change.
