Ryszard Winiarski

The originality of Ryszard Winiarski's art is the result of the affiliation of patterns derived from exact sciences to the language of art. The creative process itself constituted a higher value for him than the obtained end result, which he did not know himself.

The only means of artistic expression in his works are black and white squares, which are the equivalent of a mathematical number one and two. As he says, the paintings he created are only a coincidence, which makes him one of the leading representatives of indeterminism in Polish art.
