Jan
Ziemski

Organic abstract forms and non-painting elements placed on the canvas influencing the relief character of a flat painting. Drilling, gluing, deformation of the canvas and the accompanying cosmogony characterize the work of Jan Ziemski.

The abstract art he practiced gains value by looking for inspiration drawn from painting of matter and op. art. His interest in the exact sciences, mainly in astrology and mathematics, makes his art highly intellectual, the foundations of which should be found in constructivism.
