Weronika Teplicka was born in 1981 in Koszalin. She graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań - currently the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Art (diploma in the atelier of Prof. Piotr C. Kowalski) in 2007, and also studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Naples. She works in painting, photography, and creates objects from her failed paintings, waste, family heirlooms, etc. For the last four years, she has been working on the project 'Tales of Everyday Life', which is a documentation of her life. The artist's works can be found, among others, in the Collection of the Bielsko BWA Gallery. She works at the Baltic Gallery of Contemporary Art as curator of artistic residencies, where she also runs a series of workshops dedicated to women, 'Let's meet, let's talk, let's create'.
