Art Fair Kraków 2024

From 5 - 7 July 2024, the second edition of the Art Fair Krakow will take place. This year, 12 galleries not only from Poland, but also from the Czech Republic and Ukraine will present themselves in the historic Palace of Art.

The exhibition we have prepared will consist of works by three female artists. Each of them explores the theme of transience in her work. Their art is united by the search for carriers in artistic matter that hold the existence of earlier objects.

Zuza Dolega is one of the few artists in the country to work in pyrography, which she always combines with paper art, artistic textiles and site-specific installations for places and people, using light and shadow play. She also creates monumental cut-out installations, collages, works in the spirit of asemic writing, blackout and redacted poetry. In her creative search, she is also preoccupied with issues from fields such as neuroaesthetics and synaesthesia in art.

Anna Myszkowiak is a student at the Faculty of Sculpture at the University of Arts in Poznań. She creates sculptures, installations and textiles. In her works, she often refers to the atopic dermatitis she lives with, issues of discomfort, rapture and posthumanism.

Weronika Teplicka works with painting, photography, and creates objects from her failed paintings, waste, family heirlooms, etc. For the past four years, she has been working on the project 'Tales of Everyday Life', a documentation of her life.
