Anna Myszkowiak
Anna Myszkowiak (born in 2000 in Biłgoraj, Poland) is a graduate of the C. K. Norwid State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Lublin, where she specialized in woodcarving. She is currently studying sculpture at the University of the Arts in Poznań.
Her work includes sculpture, installations, and textiles, combining classical materials (wood, metal, resin) with everyday objects. These spatial forms and drawings serve as a means of emotional expression. Myszkowiak’s art often references personal experiences, such as living with atopic dermatitis, and touches on themes like discomfort, awe, and posthumanism. She enjoys evoking ambivalent feelings in viewers and is increasingly drawn to participatory art practices.
