Anna Myszkowiak
Anna Myszkowiak was born in 2000 in Biłgoraj. She is a graduate of the C. K. Norwid State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Lublin, where she defended her diploma in woodcarving. Currently, she studies at the Faculty of Sculpture at the University of Arts in Poznań. She creates sculptures, installations and textiles by using various means of artistic expression, i.e. everyday objects and classic sculptural materials such as wood, metal or resin. The spatial objects and drawings created result from a need for externalisation. In her works she often refers to the atopic dermatitis she lives with, issues of discomfort, delight and post-humanism. She likes her work to evoke ambivalent feelings in her viewers. As she states, she has recently become increasingly interested in participatory art.
