Vernissage of Sebastian Krzywak "Eraserhead"

Friday 8 December saw the last vernissage in our gallery this year.

This time, we had the pleasure of showing to a wider audience the exhibition resulting from more than two years of cooperation with Sebastian Krzywak.

At the exhibition entitled. 'Eraserhead', we presented 12 works from the latest series created by the artist especially with the exhibition in mind.

The exhibition's title, taken from David Lynch's film Eraserhead, refers to the transience of memories, the loss of memory and the fragility of reality. The shapes created while painting merge, are interrupted or erased like distant memories. The superimposed elements are a metaphor for memory. Its ephemeral nature manifests itself in fragments of delicate erasure and fading of colour on the unpainted part of the background.

Thank you very much for coming in such large numbers!
